I parked my little Yaris in a middle lane space on the main street of Kyogle and went shopping.
When I returned 45 minutes later, my car was neatly parked on the footpath next to the Saw Spot. The front tyres were resting in the gutter and the back wheels on the footpath at a perfect 90 degree angle. The Toyota and the fence behind it were undamaged.
No person was injured.
Amanda, the Hairdresser and the employees at the Saw Spot were very relieved. The Staff laughed with me; not at me. Amanda offered me a coffee.
I now have a SOFT SPOT FOR THE SAW SPOT!! AND THANK YOU, AMANDA!!
Message to self: Don’t forget the handbrake.
